1. About us
Rux Candles is a trading name of ASTEY LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 14278194, registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. Email: contact@asteyltd.com.
2. Our candles
Our candles are soy wax blend and scented, and are imported and sold by ASTEY LTD. Weights and sizes are shown for each design. Each candle is handmade by our maker and imported by us, so it may have minor imperfections. Photos are a guide, so small differences in colour and finish are normal. Please read the care & safety information before use.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (£). ASTEY LTD is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. Payment is taken securely by Shopify when you place your order.
4. Your order
When you place an order you'll get an email confirming we've received it. Our contract with you starts when we confirm your order. If something is out of stock or a price was clearly wrong, we'll let you know and refund you in full.
5. Delivery
See Delivery & returns. The candles become your responsibility once they're delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Cancelling and returns
You have a 14-day right to cancel online orders. Details are on our Delivery & returns page. This doesn't affect your other legal rights, for example if a candle is faulty or not as described.
7. Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We're not responsible for loss caused by not following the care and safety instructions. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
8. Corporate orders
Corporate orders are made by quote. The price, quantity, delivery date and payment terms in your quote apply alongside these terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
